MEMORANDUM. To: Alder Valley City Council. From: City Engineer. Re: Mill Street Bridge, inspection of October 20, 2026.
The east abutment shows scour to a depth of 3.5 feet below the footing. I recommend the bridge stay closed to vehicles until the abutment is repaired.
Estimated repair: $1.2 million. Earliest construction window under in-water work rules: June 15 to September 15.
